Hold up, there’s a MUSICAL? and there is audio from said musical? Does anybody have it and willing to share?
somehow writing reviews in English is easier for me as in Dutch, so this is my English review of the Dutch Next to Normal

Neil Patrick Harris will once again preside over Broadway’s biggest night as the host of this year’s Tony Awards.
CBS announced early Tuesday that the How I Met Your Mother thesp will emcee the 66th annual ceremony on June 10. This marks Harris’ third stint as Tony host, following stints in 2009 and 2011.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this year’s Tony Awards,” said Harris. “Not only will I be shining a spotlight on the best that Broadway has to offer, but hopefully I’ll score some free house seats to a show – or five!”
We may look a motley crew, smudged with tar and grime, but when you need a helping hand, we try to step in, try to step in, just in time

Stage Entertainment, in cooperation with Disney Theatrical Productions, will present the Dutch premiere of The Little Mermaid, which premiered on Broadway in 2007. After presenting Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, the Netherlands is the first country to scoop the European premiere of the Disney musical. Disney’s The Little Mermaid opens on Saturday May 12, premiering at Martini Plaza in Groningen and then playing larger theaters in the Netherlands. Casting will be announced soon.
So they’re making a new production, like what happened with Tarzan. Hmm… Tommie Christiaan will be Prince Erik, but who will play Ariel? Is it me or is it weird to announce Prince Erik first…

Moments like this is when I want to live in the USA. And there is a bluray/DVD of the musical too? I want it! I only found that the DVD is region 1, so boo for that. Can’t find anything about the bluray yet but I keep looking!
we can’t all come and go by bubble!

This needs some explaining. Eight years ago (has it really been this long? jeez… I AM getting old) a Dutch musical was made from the story of the Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. A DVD was made of this musical (yaaaaay!) and this gif is from the moment D’Artagnan is leaving home to become a musketeer. I love how the animal puppets are made (not just the horse, there was many more animal puppets) and how they react to the actors. I’ve seen it live and on DVD and they don’t react the same each time. I am watching the DVD now, so there may be some more gifs. I actually want to see it in German too! I know it’s not playing there anymore, but they had more songs and some of them were beautiful!
This man is my everything when it comes to musical theatre.
This. Tonight :)
I mean, hopefully - you can never know here, all the possible last minute changes in the cast :(
Yeah… so… I can’t understand a word from what they’re singing but I can still feel the emotion. This is amazing and a prime example that I always want to go to a musical no matter which country I am. As long as I can feel the emotion and the music is great, it doesn’t matter that I can’t understand the words. It also makes me feel like I’m in an older era, when the opera was the musical. You can’t understand a word from most of them, but you just know when someone or something is amazing…
