Hi, I’m Ingrid. I am 25, second year biomedical sciences graduate student from the Netherlands. I become attached to fictional characters way too fast and way too much. Neal Caffrey is my favourite character. Yui is my soul sister.

I love TV series. Currently I’m obsessed with White Collar and Sherlock. The moment Fringe, Doctor Who, Suits and Psych will air again they will reappear in my obsessions. Other series I have to watch the moment it’s possible are Vampire Diaries, Castle and Covert Affairs.

I love films. I can’t walk into a DVD store without buying new films. I don’t have a favourite genre, but I really don’t like horror films. I don’t mind death, murder and mayhem in a story, but enough is enough at some point and in my opinion horror always crosses that line.

I love music. A day without music is a very bad day. I will always sing along to songs, even though I can’t sing. I will even on occasion sing on my blog through text posts. This helps me with getting lyrics out of my mind.

I love theatre, especially musicals. The best musicals that are ever made and that I’ve seen are Aida and Les Misérables. The best musical film is and will always be Grease. I’m currently obsessed with Hadley Fraser.

I love books. I will always prefer real books over eBooks, but there are some positive sides on digital reading. I read to relax, so don’t expect to catch me reading difficult books. I am saving those for when I’m retired and need something to do to fill the days.
